Steve Lavelle leads mosaic in Europe, and is a Partner of Gillamor Stephens based out of the UK. Gillamor Stephens is a 15 person, five-partner executive recruitment company with nine years track record of supporting corporate and venture-capital backed companies across EMEA.
Steve has eighteen years experience of executive search within the high technology marketplace, with most of this experience helping US companies of all sizes and stages of development in their EMEA operations. His technology focus has been broad, with particular specialisms in software, IT services and a wide variety of Internet related businesses. He has a particular expertise in working with US companies to enter the European marketplace and build out management teams.
John Hoagland leads mosaic in North America and is a partner with Mainstay Partners, a 10-person executive search firm based in Boston. He has 14 years of experience in retained search working with private equity investors and Boards of Directors in helping build leadership teams and Boards in the technology sector. Prior to founding Mainstay, he was the partner in charge of the North American Technology & Venture practice on behalf of a large, publicly traded executive search firm.In addition to his work in executive search, John has held executive roles in General Management, Operations and Sales in the enterprise software and financial services sectors. In his last role, he ran a division of a private equity-backed software and services company through a period of significant growth and successful sale to a larger competitor.

Bob Currie partners Hoagland in leading mosaic North America. He is a partner with LGES, a 7-partner executive search firm with offices in San Francisco, New York and Washington DC. Bob Currie is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of sales, marketing, and general management experience who brings deep expertise in the enterprise software and executive recruiting arenas. Most recently, Bob founded the executive search practice for Nucleus Partners, a Silicon-Valley based strategic consulting firm. Prior to that, Bob was a member of Spencer Stuart’s Technology, Communications & Media Practice. Before joining Spencer Stuart, Bob, acting as interim chief executive officer, led the turnaround of a technology startup. Additionally, he served on the board of advisors for five technology companies, including Enginex Networks, Quiq, and Wirestone International.

Now based in North America, Elaine works closely with our international mosaic team to help US and Canadian technology vendors with their senior hiring needs in Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific.Elaine has worked in the technology sector in Europe, Asia-Pacific and North America. She brings a strong 15-year track record in IT executive search to mosaic, during which time she’s helped many US-based and European technology vendors to build leadership talent and hire for critical or challenging roles in Asia-Pacific. Previously in Singapore with mosaic, Elaine ran various searches across South-East Asia. Prior to this she’d worked for an IT search boutique in Hong Kong, and then set up and ran the Asia technology practice for a US-based global executive search firm. Pre-search, Elaine held various sales and marketing roles with IBM, in the UK and in Canada.Elaine grasps a B.A. Hons degree in English Literature from Cambridge University in the UK.
